About Mark Harrison

“… Mr. Harrison is quickly becoming THE voice of labor in this country and beyond…”

Mark Harrison is the Lead Anchor for The Labor Network, and the Managing Editor for Your Labor Minute with Mark Harrison, and the upcoming Take 5, on The Labor Network.

Mr. Harrison has been intimately involved with unions and organizing drives since the late 1980’s, working in several different areas including:  Communications, Organizing, Retirement and Insurance, Safety, Political Action, and Government Affairs. From California, to Tennessee, to New York City, and Washington, D.C., he has been involved for most of his career with a major AFL-CIO affiliate union.

“One of my proudest and most memorable efforts was working as a key member of an organizing committee that saw thousands of members fight off a union-breaking drive from a large corporation with a steadfast reputation for avoiding negotiating with its workers. A group that today finds itself stronger and with increasing influence because that group of workers have learned that by negotiating with one voice, they have the power to improve their collective working lives…”   -- Mark Harrison

Mark’s unique experiences in writing, television news, organized labor, and film making have given him the perfect skillset to lead us into the fight for a new era of worker respect, harmony, and improved lives. His sincere delivery, and on camera persona are both personal and authoritative. People trust his delivery, and we’re proud to call him The Signature Voice and Face of The Labor Network.
