Your Labor Minute

Someone recognized me the other day when I was traveling and asked why I always said, I’m Mark Harrison with your Labor Minute at the end of our shows. We had a nice chat for a few minutes, and later in the day, I was thinking about what she said. I’d always used that wording in my scripts because it sounded right, but after giving it some thought, I realized it really is our audience’s minute. It’s their giving of their time to better educate themselves about their own working lives. It’s hard working folks who are investing a minute of their busy day and counting on us to deliver. When I got back, we had a meeting, and decided that we would indeed change the name officially to Your Labor Minute.
